What is NAET?

A combination of acupuncture, acupressure and neurosensory testing to identify and address sensitivities/ allergens.

The 10 Gates for Acupressure
What Causes Sensitivities?

We can have adverse reactions for a variety of reasons and NAET can sometimes help uncover the cause as physically induced (genetic predisposition), chemical/ nutritional (related to how our bodies absorb and process our nutritional/ detoxification pathways) and emotional (when specific events alter the way our body responds to stimuli).

How Does Naet Work?

Clinical trials are underway to shed light on the bio-mechanics of these treatments, and understanding the healing mechanism of acupuncture remains largely empirical. It works, even though the specifics of how it works are elusive. Clinical trials are showing changes in the immunoglobulin levels (serological / blood tests reflect changes in the immune response a few months after the NAET treatments).

Describe a Treatment:

Neurosensory testing involves applying pressure to a muscle, usually pressure is applied to the arm. When the muscle goes weak in the presence of testing vials, a sensitivity has been identified. Once the correct vial for treatment has been determined, the patient will hold the vial for the duration of the treatment (the exception is anaphylactic allergens). Acupressure is applied to the spinal nerves (a massage down the back) until the patient has a strong neurosensory test while holding the allergen. Once the patient tests strong, then gentle application of ultra-fine gauge needles to ten specific acupoints stabilizes the new strength the body has while in the presence of the allergen.

24 Hr. Avoidance of the Treated Items Begins after Care.
