About Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an incredibly effective medicine for a variety of problems. The technique of gently stimulating energetic points along specific channels in the body dates back thousands of years. The insights of ancient practitioners of Eastern medicine continues to help many conditions currently afflicting people today. Please see our links for further information of conditions acupuncture may help with.

The gigantic myth of taking pharmaceutical medications to promote health has lost luster as more and more people are turning back towards natural ways of balancing health. It does not take a biochemical engineering degree to discern the "side-effects" of medications are in fact effects of the drugs on most people. "Side-effects" then lead to additional prescriptions, which further impair the underlying health and energy of the body.

Acupuncture is physical medicine to help the body help itself.

How does it work? Many studies are underway, but no conclusive understanding of the exact mechanism has been identified, yet. The studies are confusing as "real" and "sham" acupuncture treatments both render positive outcomes, which is determined by Occidental thinking to mean acupuncture must be a "placebo."

Personally, I believe there is a frequency in the body that is outside the visible spectrum. When the wave length of the meridian or channel energy is identified and we find the correct technology to photograph the channels, everyone will know how it works.

The body's energy that creates the ability of self-healing is ahead of our modern medical understanding. It was not very long ago that the idea of spinning a huge magnet around the body would capture a clear image of our internal organs and soft tissue. Now, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a common diagnostic tool. Hopefully, in my life time, I will have a chance to see the secret to the channels emerge with yet to be developed radiological imaging.
